Martina McBride To Release Christmas Album On 20th Anniversary Of Her First

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas—Well, at least for Martina McBride. The “This One’s For the Girls” singer has announced that she will release the brand new Christmas album, It’s The Holiday Season.

The new album will contain 9 holiday songs, hitting stores on October 19. It’s The Holiday Seasonfollows Martina’s original, and one of the best, Christmas albums available, White Christmas, released in 1998.

The Kansas native took to Instagram to share her big news.

“I could not be more thrilled to finally announce that I have a new Christmas album, Christmas tour, and a new cookbook all coming out this fall!,” Martina wrote in her post. “We recorded ‘It’s The Holiday Season’ with a full orchestra and a big swing band to create something truly special. I’m so proud of this album and I can’t wait for you to hear it.”

She adds, “Once I recorded the album I knew the tour had to match the “big band sound” so every date on “The Joy of Christmas Tour 2018” will feature a symphony orchestra backing me on every song! We will be doing songs from both albums as well as a few hits. You don’t want to miss it, we’re going to have so much fun!

If that wasn’t enough, Martina went on to announce a new cookbook for her foodie loving fans, which is the follow-up to her previous cookbook, Around the Table.

“Finally my second cookbook “Martina’s Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life” is completely finished and coming to a bookstore near you!,” she says. “Over the past couple years, our family has spent less time watching the news and more time together at the dinner table sharing what is going on in our daily lives, listening to new music we love, and enjoying time together.  Those moments inspired me to recreate some of our favorite family meals, and as our girls grow up each holiday we share becomes more special.  I wanted to create a cookbook families can use year-round and a Christmas album to enjoy together during the holiday.”

Is it too early to say Merry Christmas?
